Main Building: 5-3/4 x 5 x 5-1/2" 14.3 x 12.5 x 13.7cm
It was an age of elegant style. Clothes, carriages , buildings -- especially buildings -- had a distinctive style and lavish ornaments. Many still survive, lovingly restored to their former glory.
Capture the elegance of those long-ago days with the Gold Ribbon Series™ buildings from Walthers. This collection of HO Scale kits is designed for simple snap-together assembly with a minimum of gluing. The finished models are perfect for layouts, dioramas or Christmas Villages.
Major parts snap together and you just glue on smaller details for the finishing touch. Main walls and trim are molded as one assembly, but in two different colors, so you can use your new model right of the box. Windows feature true-to-scale mullions and frames molded in color over clear glazing for more realism. Decals and interior detail sheets are included as appropriate, along with complete instructions. Packed with details, you'll be proud to display the finished buildings in any setting.

Nowadays, it's hard to tell what this old building once did for a living. Some old-timers think it started out as a carriage and wagon works. Old glass-plate negatives show it was used by a volunteer fire company in the 1880s. Some swear it was a livery stable by 1900. Others remember it as a garage in the 1920s. When Wally's dad bought the place in the early 30s, it had seen better days. Now even he can't remember what was here before he took over. In later years, he rebuilt and simplified the front wall, adding the double-wide door and the attached storage shed.
New owners, new ideas, new businesses. A little paint, a little lumber, a new door here, a window taken out there. Travel through small town or big city and you'll still spot buildings like this.
Wally's Warehouse can become almost any business your HO Scale layout needs. Its classic American design looks great built right out of the box, or as the starting point for a quick customizing project. Highly detailed plastic parts capture the look of wood construction and are molded in realistic colors so no painting is needed before the new owners move in. Engineered to be fast and fun to build, the kit comes with complete instructions and decal signs for several small businesses. Perfect for steam- or diesel-era scenes, its a natural for superdetailing to fit your favorite era.
