With a blazing top speed of over 60 mph, this powerhouse features an ultra-low-CG chassis and balanced weight distribution, allowing it to take on corners with rail-like handling. Built to harness extreme power, the Jato 4X4 VXL is fitted with Traxxas' toughest Extreme HD components, making it capable of transforming the raw 4s Velineon horsepower into hours of high-octane fun.

Under the hood, the Jato 4X4 VXL packs the same Velineon 540XL brushless motor as the Maxx monster truck, making it Traxxas' largest motor in a buggy. Paired with the new VXL-4s™ speed control featuring built-in telemetry and selectable 6.0 or 7.4-volt BEC, this powerhouse achieves blistering acceleration and relentless speed when powered by a 4s LiPo battery.

Designed for optimal handling, the Jato 4X4 VXL’s low and wide stance keeps its weight below the driveshafts for sharp, responsive performance. Aluminum XX-long GTR shocks work in tandem with ultra-soft Response Pro tires to maximize traction, while the optional sway bar kit (sold separately) allows for flat cornering and enhanced track performance. The factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty driveline and suspension components ensure unmatched durability, with an aluminum T-Bar chassis and Extreme HD shock towers absorbing impacts and supporting the suspension. The heavy-duty Maxx-Duty® driveshafts channel the intense torque of the 540XL motor with ease, propelling the Jato 4X4 VXL through any terrain.

Its aerodynamic clipless body design minimizes drag and eliminates parachuting for stability at high speeds. Secure side latches hold the body firmly in place yet allow for quick battery swaps. The high-downforce wing from Sledge® keeps the Jato 4X4 VXL grounded with added rollover protection for safe, high-speed maneuvering.
